Cowlar a Pakistani startup is working to develop wearable that tracks and helps farmers to monitor their animal’s cows and buffaloes. “Fitbit for cows” is the latest wearable technology. It is basically a tracking device that tells about the cow’s core temperature, diseases, and if it will produce enough milk or not. It helps to understand that whether the cow is healthy or not.

The smart collars called Cowlar are waterproof and durable collars that transmit the data to a solar powered base. The data range for a collar to transmit data is 4 km. The wearable first tracks through motion sensors and after that transmits that information in the form of text messages to farmers by using the cloud technology.

The startup claims that using their wearable can help farmers to increase milk production up to 15%. The startup has created a very good track record from the start of their journey.
